Changes to terminology

As we prepare PEMS to connect to the Next Export Documentation System (NEXDOC) some terms used in PEMS have changed to be consistent with terms used in NEXDOC.

Roles in PEMS

If you had multiple PEMS accounts, we are actively merging these accounts. When you connect to one of your existing PEMS accounts through TradeClear, you can access all your roles and switch between them.

Switching between roles in PEMS

To switch between your PEMS roles, use the drop-down menu at the top of your PEMS screen.

Viewing past requests for permits in PEMS

You can still look at old Request for Permits (RFPs), even though they are now called requests for export (REXs) in PEMS.
