Find a client group token, client group ID and client token

Find tokens and ID numbers when setting up third party software to access NEXDOC.

What are client group tokens and client tokens?

To set up third party software to access NEXDOC you will need a series of tokens and IDs. These are known as client group tokens, client group IDs and client tokens.

Client group token

This identifies your business team (your client group) and allows your third party software to connect with NEXDOC.

Client group ID

This identifies your client group for administration purposes only.

Client token (or member token)

This identifies someone in your client group and allows that person to use the third party software to access NEXDOC.

It’s also known as a member token or client group member token.

How to obtain tokens and ID

You don’t need to do anything to get these tokens or ID. They’re generated automatically.

For example:

  • The client group token and client group ID are generated when a client group administrator sets up the group.
  • A client token is generated each time the client group administrator adds a new member to the group.

How to find the tokens and ID

If you’re the team’s client group administrator, you can find these tokens in NEXDOC.

You must have a TradeClear account linked to NEXDOC. For more information, go to Get started using NEXDOC.
