Add a business to TradeClear

Find out how to add a business to a TradeClear account.

Only a principal authority or authorisation administrator can add a business to TradeClear.

Relationship Authorisation Manager

We use Relationship Authorisation Manager, opens in a new tab (RAM) to add businesses to TradeClear.

To add a business to your TradeClear account, you need to first link the business to your myID in RAM. Only a principal authority, opens in a new tab or authorisation administrator, opens in a new tab can do this.

Adding a business to a TradeClear account

Once you have linked the business in RAM, you can then add it to your TradeClear account:

  1. Sign in, opens in a new tab to TradeClear.
  2. Select 'Export'.
  3. From the ‘My account’ page, select 'Add a business in TradeClear'.
  4. Select 'Continue with Digital ID'.
  5. Follow the steps.
  6. From the RAM screen, select the business you want to add.
  7. Select 'Confirm' to add the business.

The business will appear on the ’My account’ page in the 'Businesses' section. To add another business, repeat these steps.

Invite someone to act for a business

Only a user with a ‘Principal authority (Owner)’ or ‘Manager’ role can invite others to use TradeClear. For more information, go to Invite someone to act for a business.

Remove a business from your TradeClear account
