Create a TradeClear account using email sign-in
An email sign-in gives you access to some of our services. You can use it instead of a Digital ID.
TradeClear helps you manage your agricultural export requirements with us. You can use a TradeClear account to access our Services, opens in a new tab in one place.
Email sign-in access to TradeClear
You do not need to provide verified identity documents to create an email sign-in. However, email sign-in only provides 'Basic' identity strength.
Depending on your role, this may limit the services you can access and the tasks you can perform.
For example, if you need to manage an establishment or submit an export licence application, you must sign in with a myID with 'Standard' or 'Strong' identity strength.

We recommend using myID
A myID with 'Standard' or 'Strong' identity strength allows you to access more of our services. If you continue with email sign-in, you can strengthen your account with myID later if you need to.

Multi-factor authentication
When you create an account with email sign-in, we’ll ask you to provide multi-factor authentication (MFA). You’ll need to use an authenticator app on your phone to do this.
You’ll then need to use the authenticator app each time you sign in to your account with email. This helps us protect your account information.

To create a new account using email sign-in
To create a new TradeClear account using email sign-in, follow the steps:
- Go to the Sign-in, opens in a new tab page.
- Select 'Use email sign-in instead'.
- Select 'Create an account'.
- Review and accept the 'TradeClear Terms of Use'.
- Enter your email address.
- Verify your email.
- Enter your name and password.
- Select SMS or mobile phone for multi-factor authentication.
- Confirm your email and notification preferences.

Add email sign-in to your account
If you already have a TradeClear account using Digital ID, you can add email sign-in to your account. For more information, go to Add myID or email sign-in to your account.
