Invite someone to act for a business
Invite people to carry out tasks for a business in TradeClear.
A ‘Principal Authority (Owner)’ or ‘Manager’ can invite others to use TradeClear for their business. This can be done when they are setting up an account or later.
A ‘Principal Authority (Owner)’ can assign someone a ‘Manager’ role. A ‘Manager’ can then invite others and assign them an access level. ‘Users’ and ‘Agents’ can't invite people to TradeClear.
Invite someone to a business
To add a person who can act for a business:
- Sign in, opens in a new tab to your TradeClear account.
- Select 'Export'.
- Select the business you want to invite the person to.
- Select ‘Manage people’.
- Select ‘Invite a person’.
- Follow the steps to enter their details and assign them a role.
The person will receive an email inviting them to the business. The invitation is valid for 7 days.
Assigning roles
When someone is added to a business in TradeClear, they need to be assigned a role giving them a level of access.
